A&A Case Reports – a new online journal
– to launch in 2013
Anesthesia & Analgesia Case Reports is the newest journal from the IARS, dedicated to sharing and discussion of informative clinical experiences. This online-only journal will contain patient cases that highlight important teaching points or scientific observations in disciplines related to anesthesiology: perioperative medicine, critical care, and pain management. A&A Case Reports will be launched in the fall of 2013.
A&A Case Reports is actively soliciting manuscripts, which will be reviewed quickly, usually within 2-4 weeks. All manuscripts should be submitted through Editorial Manager here.
OpenAnesthesia is sponsored by the IARS and was founded in 2009. OA has quickly become a leading reference source for anesthesiology residents, physicians, CRNAs and other medical professionals. The OpenAnesthesia website has become one of the most widely-used references for resident anesthesiologists and physicians. The site offers numerous content sources anesthesiology, including a rich multimedia section with podcasts, TEE of the Month, Article of the Month, video summaries of issues of Anesthesia & Analgesia, and Virtual Grand Rounds in Obstetric Anesthesia.
