IARS First-Time Attendee Orientation and Networking Session
At the IARS First-Time Attendee Orientation and Networking Session on Friday, April 27, 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm, review what’s new at the IARS Annual Meeting and gain strategies to make the most of your experience and maximize the value to you. Meet other first-time attendees and learn from loyal return attendees. Sign-up during registration to attend this session!

Dine-Around Sessions
Make friends and gain mentors in the casual setting of a Dine-Around while discussing the top-of-mind anesthesia topics during the two sessions on Friday, April 27, 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm and Sunday, April 29, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Take advantage of this unique opportunity for a more meaningful networking experience. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Attendees may attend both sessions if space is available. Locations will be provided by IARS. Dining costs are the responsibility of attendees. Sign-up during registration and make sure you secure one of the limited spaces.

IARS, AUA, SOCCA & eSAS Scholars’ Program Mentor-Trainee Reception
Network and socialize with fellow scholars, plus participate in mentoring opportunities, Friday, April 27, 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. The Mentor-Trainee Reception is part of the Scholars’ Program and requires a separate, non-refundable fee and pre-registration.

Chicago, Illinois, Airports
In the Chicago area, there are two major airports: Chicago O’Hare International Airport (airport code: ORD) and Chicago Midway International Airport (airport code: MDW). Both airports offer U.S. and international flights daily. O’Hare International Airport is 18 miles from the Hyatt Regency Chicago or a 45-minute drive. Expected travel time from O’Hare International Airport to hotel can be a 1-hour and 40-minute drive depending on traffic. Midway International Airport is 12 miles from airport to hotel or a 35-minute drive. Expected travel time from Midway International Airport to hotel can be a 55-minute drive depending on traffic.
